About the Event
The Knik 200 Joe Redington Sr. Memorial Sled Dog Race was founded by Sally Welch of Eagle River Alaska in honor of the Father of the Iditarod Joe Redington Sr. This 200-mile competitive race is a valuable training opportunity for mushers and dog teams, as well as a qualifying race for Iditarod and Yukon Quest.
